This starter is derived from the 1000 year old starter that was converted to Organic Einkorn Starter for over 2 years. It revives to baking quality within a few days of rehydrating and producing beautiful sourdough loaves within a week with proper care and process.
Our Einkorn Sourdough Loaves is Organic Einkorn flour. Einkorn flour is produced from the grains of an ancient species of wheat that was domesticated in the Fertile Crescent roughly 12,000 years ago.
